Dear Employee,

While executive and management teams have a huge (HUGE) responsibility to cultivate a healthy organizational culture, and to lead toward that end, you make or break the effort.

It doesn’t matter in many cases what title you do or don’t hold, how many fancy acronyms you have after your name, or even how long you’ve been in your industry. What matters–what’s really, really important that you understand–is that your organization needs you to step up.

Your organization needs you to rally around the mission and culture where you are. You need to work hard to understand and live the culture.

Don’t wait for a mandate. Do something.

Listen. Look for opportunities to lead. Think forward. Be proactive. Stay positive.

Take a look in the mirror and challenge yourself. Ask yourself hard questions. Give honest answers. It starts with you. It has to start now.

Learn. Grow. Push.

Your organization needs you.

Cheers,

Matt
